I was moved by the programme broadcast recently about the UK pop band the Bee Gees.
I have been a member of the UK Bee Gees tribute act since 2007, playing Robin. (Middle) I have been lucky enough to have played all over the world with this act working with some great names including soul RnB outfit Sister Sledge and appearing frequently at Ricky Tomlinson's (Royle Family) club in Liverpool. Barry Gibb, the sole survivor of the 4 brothers including Andy, was the main contributor and spoke candidly about his life with his brothers, finding fame and fortune and the ups and downs of being a superstar.
Thank you to the Bee Gees for giving us such wonderful music. I have enjoyed singing with this band over the years and I hope to continue doing my bit to help the music live on!
